Job Profile: Python Developer We are looking for a Python Developer to join our EduGorilla Community and help us develop and maintain various software products. The job role consists of writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing advanced features on EduGorilla’s proprietary backend technologies
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of existing services
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Ensuring all project releases are done timely and are of the highest quality
- Managing email of incoming bug reports and feature requests from users
- Collaborating with department heads to achieve a common goal
Requirements:
- Expert in Python and knowledge of at least one Python web framework Tornado, Django, and Flask
- Expert in data structures and algorithms
- Able to create optimal relational database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong unit test and debugging skills
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise-level system designs and scalable architecture
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
