The GMAT exam consists of four separately timed sections:
- Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) Essay
- Integrated Reasoning (IR) Section
- Quantitative Section
- Verbal Section
In Analytical Writing we have to analyse the argument and the duration of the test is 30 minutes. There are 12 questions of integrated reasoning Section. There is a optional break of 10 minutes after it. Then in Quantitative section we have 37 multiple choice questions with the duration of 75 minutes. In quantitative section 15 out of 37 questions are of Data Sufficiency and 22 questions are of problem solving. Then again there is an optional break of 10 minutes. Then there is verbal section of 75 minutes interval with 41 multiple choice questions. Out of these 41 questions 12 questions are of critical reasoning, 14 questions are of reading comprehension and 15questions are of sentence correction. The total duration of the test is 210 minutes.
