Amity university is a leading educational university which has the world class infrastructure and the most Hi-tech campus. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been established by an act of the state legislature. The main campus of Amity university is located at Noida, Uttar Pradesh but it also has other campuses across the country.
Amity university Noida has been accredited grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Amity university organizes Amity Joint Entrance Exam every year for the B.tech programmes. Amity JEE held abroad and across the country in various cities. It is a computer-based test and is conducted by Pearson VUE on the behalf of Amity university.
The online application window for the admissions in Amity university is presently open to accept the application forms. The booking dates for the selection of test centre has already started from 27th March 2017. The entrance exam will be conducted from 18th April 2017 to 30th April 2017.
Criteria for Admission:
1) The candidates having the compartment in the board exam will not be offered admission.
2) The interested candidates have to meet the minimum eligibility required to apply for the admission to the programme.
3) The admissions will be made purely on merit base.
Points to take care:
1) The candidate must bring the admit card at the centre of examination.
2) The candidate should have a valid original ID proof along with the admit card.
3) Students who do not show up at the selected date and have chosen another date thereafter have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 700.
4) An applicant can reschedule the test only once and last by 48 hours prior to the test.
5) A candidate can only leave the test centre when the END TEST button has been clicked by the student.
6) Use of any type of calculator is prohibited in the exam.
Test Pattern:
There will be four sections of objective type questions:
1) General English – 15 Questions
2) Physics -25 Questions
3) Chemistry – 25 Questions
4) Maths/Biology- 25 Questions
Attempting all the sections are compulsory.
