In 1995, a young man named Satya Narayana quit his comfy job and started following his dreams. He led the foundation of Career Launcher, a one-man startup. He was working with an MNC Ranbaxy and was earning a reasonable salary of Rs 5,100 per month (I know it’s shocking today but back then in 1995 it was actually a handsome amount). But, because of his interest in education and passion for working with the youths, Career Launcher came into existence.
Career Launcher was started as a GD/PI training center for MBA aspirants. The number of students kept growing year after year and in no time, this GD/PI training center grew into a full-fledged coaching for a number. Starting with MBA entrance preparation, it entered into other segments as well. Be it Banking exam, Civil Services, Law entrance or any other exam, Career Launcher is a top-notch institute in terms of entrance preparation. In the year 2005, it entered into the school segment as well and started its own schools named ‘Indus World School’. The journey does not end here.
In the year 2008, it got into corporate training for recruitment and event management services. In the same year itself, Mr. Satya Narayan, in partnership with the government started vocational training programmes. Career Launcher also gained GK publication in the year 2011 that publish an array of books based on test preparation and personality development.
Today, Career Launcher has 146 in across 86 cities in India. If we talk about the results, their students have always been in the limelight. It has been observed that every year, a large number of students of various fields from Career Launcher get selected in top institutions. In 2016 alone, 19,020 students got a call from IIMs. Have a look at the data below:
