NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2017 – GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) has prescribed the eligibility norms for the NMAT 2017 exam. All the candidates are advised to check eligibility criteria of NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam. If a candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria of NMAT 2017, he/she will be disqualified in further selection rounds.
If the applicant registers for the NMAT 2017 and finds out that he/she is not eligible for admission to the required program, NMAT registration fee will not be refunded. Registration process for NMAT 2017 has already started from July 4 and will be continued till October 3. Candidates who will not be able to register within this time limit can register later from October 4 to October 14. NMAT by GMAC is a very convenient exam as it provides 75- day test window so that candidates can choose a test date according to their convenience.
NMAT by Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) is a computer-based national level examination. This examination is conducted every year to admit deserving candidates in their management programmes in various campuses. Top B-schools in India accept NMAT by GMAC scores. The NMAT by GMAC 2016 is slated to be conducted on October 7, 2016 (start date) and December 20, 2016 (end date).
NMAT by GMAC 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of each NMAT participating institute or university where they want to apply in order to understand the admission process. However, the general eligibility criteria to appear for NMAT by GMAC 2017 are as follow:
- Candidate should have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks
- Final year students can also apply subject to them fulfilling the NMAT 2017 eligibility criteria at the time of admission
- Work experience of at least two years will be given preference
- Test fee must be submitted on time
- All the required documents must be submitted at the time of admission
- There is no age limit

NMAT by GMAC Eligibility Criteria – NMIMS Campus
Given below are the different NMAT by GMAC 2017 eligibility criteria for different programmes offered-
- MBA (Mumbai Campus) – Candidates should have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate from a recognised university or institute.
- MBA-HR (Mumbai Campus) – Candidates should have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 50 percent aggregate marks from a recognised university or institute.
- MBA Pharmaceutical Management (Mumbai Campus) – Candidates should have completed graduation in Pharmacy, Science, MBBS, BDS, Life Sciences, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology with at least 50 percent aggregate marks from a recognised university or college. Postgraduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply. Candidates with B.Tech/B.E. in Biotechnology or Bio-Medical are eligible to apply for NMAT by GMAC 2017. Candidates working in Pharmaceutical companies for more than two years are preferred.
- PGDM (Bengaluru & Hyderabad Campus) – Candidates should have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate from a recognised university or institute.
NMAT by GMAC 2017: Important Points to Note
- If at any level, it is found that the candidate is not meeting the eligibility criteria or if the information filled in the form is not correct, the application of the candidate will be forfeited.
- If the candidate is not meeting the eligibility criteria in case discussion and personal interview rounds, admission process will be terminated. No fees will be refunded.
