How to prepare for competitive exams?
- Manage your time wisely
- Everyone in this universe have equal time. Time management plays a very important role in the success of a person.
- The first thing is to review all your daily and weekly activities to know what is necessary and what should be dropped.
- The study plan must be planned in very effective manner. The students must know what to study, how to study and what not to study.
- Make a timetable for all the subjects including refreshments and other daily activities.
- Set realistic and goals for completion of particular topic or chapter. Once you reached your target, you will feel the happiness that will boost your confidence level.
- Some of the subjects need comparatively more concentration. Assign them in the morning time, you may allocate the last hours to the subjects which are easy and needs less concentration.
- Leave plenty of time to revise, so that you don’t have to avoid last minute cramming. Avoid any distractions that may shift your focus from what you are studying.

- By moving your body, you are increasing the blood flow to your brain and melting away stress from your mind and body. Walking is the best physical exercise which helps in reducing physical tension.
Spend some time in nature.
- Get out in nature and enjoy fresh air. Being with nature is a simple and effective way of decreasing stress.
Take consistent breaks.
- As soon as you notice your mind is losing concentration, take 10-15 minutes break to get refreshed.
- Examination day preparation
- Students should take balanced sleep and diet before examination day.
- Make sure you get reach the examination center before 30 minutes of the exam time.
- Check your admit card, basic requirements for examination before move to exam center.
- Precautions in examination hall
- Carefully read the instructions given in the answer booklet or question paper.
- Go through all the questions carefully.
- One should read each question and its alternatives carefully.
- Answer the easiest question first to get the guaranteed marks at the shortest time.
- Regularly check the remaining time left.
- Give yourself time to re-read and go through the answer sheet before 5 minutes of the finishing time.
- It should be confirmed that all the relevant particulars have been filled in the answer sheet.
- Students must write their name, roll No, hall ticket No, name and subject of the exam in the prescribed place.
- Attempt the prescribed number of questions only. The excess number of prescribed answers will be ignored by the examiner.
