UCEED 2017 is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay under the guidance of the UCEED Admission Committee 2017 for admission to the Bachelors of Design (B.Des) programme offered at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.
UCEED 2017 Application
Eligible candidates can apply for UCEED 2017 by visiting the official website at www.uceed.in. After reading the eligibility criteria and instruction carefully, start filling the form by clicking on the apply now tab. Fill all the required information and upload all the necessary documents and complete the application procedure by paying the application fees of INR 1000.

UCEED 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must fulfil the criteria required for appearing for UCEED 2017 or their application forms will be rejected:
Candidates from all the different discipline who have appeared for class 12th in 2016 or are appearing in 2017 from a recognized university are eligible to apply for UCEED 2017. All General/OBC-NCL category candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1997 and all SC/ST /PWD category candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1992. Candidates should have a valid UCEED 2017 scorecard.

UCEED 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper will be in English only. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and it will a computer-based exam. Total marks in the question paper will be 300. The paper will include a total of 80 questions from the 6 topics mentioned in the syllabus.
The UCEED 2017 question paper will be divided into 3 sections:
Section A: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) question
There is no negative marking for this section. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.
The questions in this section will not include any choices. A numeral needs to be entered in the space provided for the answer using the virtual keyboard.
Section B: Multiple Select Questions (MSQs)
There is no negative or partial marks in this section. 4 marks will be awarded to candidates who select all the correct choices and no wrong choice is selected.
This section will include questions with one or more than one correct choice among the four given options.
Section C: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
There is negative marking in this section. 3 marks will be awarded for all correct answers and 1 marks will be deducted for the wrong answers.

Candidates will have to choose three cities in the order of preference, while filling the online form. Changes cannot be made once the form is filled. Centres will be allotted on the basis of the availability of seats. In case, the minimum number of candidates are not available for a particular city, then that particular centre will be dropped in the final list and the candidates who would have chosen that centre, will be allotted exam centre according to second preference.
UCEED 2017 Admit Card
Candidates whose application form will be complete in all aspects will be able to download their UCEED 2017 admit cards by visiting the application portal of UCEED 2017 at www.uceed.in on December 26, 2016 at or after 5 PM.
Submit all the required details to enter homepage, and check all the details mentioned on the Admit Card including Name, UCEED application ID, roll number, photograph, signature, exam schedule, name and address of the examination centre before downloading it.
In case of any discrepancy, contact the UCEED 2017 officials before January 9, 2017, 5 PM and preserve your admit card until the end of the entire admission process.
UCEED 2017 Results
Candidates can check their UCEED 2017 Results on or after February 20, 2017 by visiting the official website of UCEED 2017 at www.uceed.in. Click on the results tab and then login using your username and password that were generated during the application process.
Once the results are declared on the official website, a rank list will be prepared on the basis of the scores of all the qualified candidates. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of the rank list.
