The interview round comes after clearing the preliminary and mains of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) IAS exam. But for many it comes with nightmares, it is often said. The commission takes a final decision regarding a candidate’s recruitment. It is popularly known as personality assessment round. The interviewers frame questions in such a manner that the answers may clearly a candidate’s personality and speak volumes about it.

The panel judges a candidate on the basis of his or her promptness in answering the questions. It is to make it clear how he/she will deal with or react to a particular given situation or crisis.
