“A right delayed is a right denied” ~Martin Luther King Jr.
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, irrespective of nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status. “Human rights defender” is a term used to describe people who, individually or with others, act to promote or protect human rights. Everybody is equally entitled to his human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible. Human rights are commonly understood as "inalienable fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled simply because she or he is a human being." Human rights are thus conceived as universal (applicable everywhere) and egalitarian (the same for everyone). These rights may exist as natural rights or as legal rights, in both national and international law.Career Path
