CMAT Application Form 2018 – AICTE has commenced with CMAT 2018 registration on October 18, 2017, and candidates can now apply until December 25 unlike the previous last date of December 18, 2017. CMAT exam form is available only in online mode. The candidates interested in appearing for this management entrance test can obtain the CMAT 2018 application form on the official website of AICTE-CMAT, www.aicte-cmat.in. Also, a direct link to apply for the exam has been provided here below. The application fee to register for CMAT 2018 is Rs. 1400 for General/OBC applicants and Rs. 700 for reserved category applicants. This fee can be paid by the applicants in both, online and offline mode. They can resort to internet banking or pay the fee using credit/debit card o can submit cash at any designated branch of SBI bank. CMAT application process 2018 comprises basically three steps beginning with filling a self-registration form followed by paying the registration fee and lastly filling the CMAT 2018 application form. Last date for processing AICTE CMAT registration 2018 is December 25, 2017.
Indian citizens having a Bachelors degree in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam. All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) will be conducting Common Management Admission Test 2018 on January 21, 2018. This year, CMAT will be held on a single day across 75 cities of the nation. Based on CMAT 2018 score, management aspirants of the country will be able to get admission to various post graduate management courses such as MBA, PGDM, PGCM, Executive MBA etc. The score of CMAT is accepted by over 1000 Colleges/Universities affiliated to AICTE.

CMAT Application Form 2018

As mentioned above, registering for AICTE CMAT 2018 exam is a simple 3 step process, which includes –

  • Filling details in a self-registration CMAT form. The candidates must note that details filled in this pre-registration form cannot be changed after its submission.
  • Details to be filled in pre-registration form are Candidate’s name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Religion, Email Id, Aadhar Number, Mobile Number, a password recovery question and answer.
  • Also, the applicants will be required to fill 3 preferred test cities from the drop-down menu given there.
  • Thereafter, the candidates will have to pay the CMAT 2018 application fee to proceed further with the registration process. They can opt for either online or offline mode for paying the fee as per their comfort.
  • After paying the fee, the candidates will have access to the CMAT 2018 application form. Here, the applicants must all the details in the form and these details should be correct and valid.

  • See that you are eligible to apply for Common Management Admission Test 2018.
  • Read the instructions for filling the form carefully before beginning with the application process.
  • Collect all the prerequisites for CMAT 2018 registration, be it images of photograph and signature in appropriate size and format, keep your education details with you and aadhar card number too.

Who is eligible to apply for AICTE CMAT 2018?

As mentioned above, it is imperative for the CMAT aspirants to ensure that they are eligible to appear for this entrance test. AICTE provides certain eligibility norms which have been listed below. All the candidates interested in applying for this exam are advised to go through these norms and then begin with CMAT exam registration –
  • Applicants should be a citizen of India.
  • They should be graduate in any discipline and should have a three years duration degree.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of bachelor’s degree and whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2018-19 can also apply for CMAT online exam.

Amount of CMAT 2018 Registration Fee and its Payment

No CMAT 2018 exam form will be submitted until the application fee will be paid by the applicants. The table below furnishes the amount of application fee for every category of applicants. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid in online and offline mode. Both these modes have been detailed below.

Mode of CMAT Registration Fee Payment

The applicants can make payment of application fee in any of the following ways –
Online Mode: Candidates can pay CMAT application fee using Debit card/Credit card/Net banking. Once the payment will be done successfully, the candidates will get a confirmation mail on the registered email ID and a confirmation mail on the registered mobile number. Once the payment is made, the candidates can proceed with filling the rest of CMAT 2018 application form.
Offline Mode: In this mode of payment, the candidates are required to select Pay by Cash option. Candidates will have to print out three copies of online generated challan. After this, they will have to visit designated branch of SBI Bank and submit the application amount along with challan form. Candidates need to keep in mind that they have to make fee payment after 24 hours of challan generation in a nearest State Bank of India branch. Once the candidates make the payment, they can proceed with the rest of process. Last date to submit application fee at bank is December 19, 2017.

Prerequisites for filling CMAT Application Form 2018

Before you start filling up CMAT 2018 application form, make sure you have following things with you:
  1. You should have a high-speed internet access so that CMAT registration process can be completed uninterrupted.
  2. Keep all the documents required handy with you while registering for CMAT 2018.
  3. Scan your photograph with a white background. The file size should be 140 X 160 (≤ 60Kb).
  4. Also, a clear scanned image of signature done in black ink on white paper. The file size of this image should be 60 X 90 (≤ 30Kb).
  5. You need to have a personal, valid contact number. Also, you need to have a valid email address for registration. Keep in mind that the contact number and email address will be used for future communication.
  6. Keep a valid credit or debit card with you in order to make CMAT 2018 registration fee payment.
  7. You should have a printer connected to the computer/laptop so that you can take print out of required documents.

Step by Step Guide to Access and Fill CMAT 2018 Application Form

After going through the CMAT eligibility criteria and arranging all the prerequisites, candidates can proceed with online CMAT 2018 application process.

Online AICTE CMAT 2018 Registration

Step 1 of CMAT Exam Registration 2018

  • Firstly, the candidates will have to visit official website of AICTE CMAT and there they will have to click on “New Registration” tab. However, for hassle-free registration for the exam, the candidates can click on the links given on this page.
  • Thereafter, the candidates are required to read all the instructions given carefully and start filling a “self-registration form”.
  • Here, the applicants will have to fill details such as –
  1. Candidate’s name
  2. Parent’s name
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Category
  5. Gender
  6. Religion
  7. Physical disability
  8. Mobile Number
  9. Email address
  10. Aadhar Number
The pre-registration form will look like the image shown below. The candidates must fill the details in CMAT self-registration form 2018 very carefully as these cannot be changed after its submission.
Thereafter, the candidates will have to select three test cities of their choice in the order of preference. The candidates will have to choose these cities from the drop-down menu given there as shown in the image below.

After filling up all the required information in CMAT 2018 registration form, you are required to click on submit. There is an option of Reset where you can reset the form back to blank. After clicking on Submit button, a six-digit password will be created for you. The password will be reflected on the monitor screen also you will receive the same in the email which you have registered also you will receive the same information on the registered mobile phone number. These login details are needed for log in into the student account. For this, you need to click on ‘Existing User’ button.

Step 2 of CMAT Registration 2018

In the next step, the candidates will have to make payment of application fee. As shown in the image below, the candidates will have to choose the mode of payment as per their choice and pay the fee. The modes of payment have already been discussed in detail above in this post.

Step 3 of filling CMAT 2018 Application Form

The next step after making payment is uploading the required images.
Guidelines for Uploading Scanned Images
Make sure that the images you upload to the application form are of following dimensions:
Photograph image (JPEG)
  • A recent, clear image with white background
  • Image size should not exceed 60KB
  • Dimensions should be 140×160
Signature (JPEG)
  • Signature done on a white paper
  • Size shouldn’t be more than 30KB
  • Dimensions should be 60×90
You have to upload the images as per the guidelines mentioned otherwise the images won’t be accepted. At the same page, you will be asked to mention your postal address as shown in the image below.

Step 4 of CMAT 2018 Online Registration

Once you upload the images, you will reach to Qualification Details section where you need to fill the details of your qualifications such as details of 12th, Bachelor’s, board, university etc. as mentioned in the form.

Step 5 of filling CMAT application form 2018

After filling the Qualification Details, you will reach to the last step of CMAT 2018 registration process. Here, the applicants will have to preview the filled form and make any changes if required. To make any changes, the candidates will have to click on “View/Modify” option. After verifying the details in the form, click on “Proceed” to complete the registration.
You should take print out of CMAT application form 2018 and keep it safe so that you can use it for any future reference.
