An EdTech company called EduGorilla has raised Rs 16.5 crores in a fresh round of funding led by SucSEED Indovation Fund. As well as Lead Angels Fund, Ah Ventures, Mumbai Angels, TiE India, VG Angels, and WeFounderCircle, they participated.
Angel investors like Ambrish Jain (ex-COO of Vodafone), Vivek Chachra (Director Sales of Harvard Business Publications), Vineet Singh (Director- Infant Nutrition at Nestle), and Rohit Sathe also participated in the funding round (VP Philips).
The additional funding will be used to launch 200 more video courses in additional vernacular languages and expand content into nine additional languages by April 2023. It will also be used to improve the AI and ML-based platform and raise coaching partners from 3,000 to 15,000 while also increasing student success rates from 14x to 25x.
