Indian School Awards 2017 honor schools in Chandigarh

To encourage and recognize the achievements of colleges, Robochamps India in collaboration with AM foundation and EduGorilla announced Indian School awards at a glittering function in Chandigarh on 10th November 2017.

Technocrat Rohit Manglik, CEO, EduGorilla, who was invited as a special guest speaker, graced the occasion with an eclectic opening speech to boost the morale of students and teachers present there.

‘’Our country is experiencing a rapid population growth. We need to device appropriate education and training systems to prepare an overwhelming young population for the workplace.’’ he said. ‘’We need to improve the quality of our primary education and find drivers of innovation to present a bright future to the next generation. The sole aim of these awards is to boost the confidence of schools with exceptional results, innovation and overall student development, thereby making the education ecosystem more competitive.”

Rohit further added, “Our startup EduGorilla is helping students by hosting Marketplace (largest in the country) with more than 70,000 study materials to help students with their studies. We also have India’s largest listing of coaching centers (more than 56,000) helping students and their parents make an informed decision.”

More than 200 delegates, prominent educationalists and speakers of the Country along with government officials in the education sector were present. The chief guest and the current Punjab Government Head of Education Department Ms Aruna Singh, the first female Lok Sabha speaker and presidential candidate Ms Meira Kumar gave away the awards to deserving schools at the jam-packed Ramada Plaza.
