NIFT 2018 Result for the written exam is to be declared by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in the month of February of March 2018, whereas the final result is to be released by the end of May or in the first week of June 2018. Candidates, who will appear for the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT) on 21st January 2018, can check their result on the official website of NIFT and know their score. Candidates can check NIFT 2018 result only online on the institute’s website.
Candidates who have cleared GAT and CAT and shortlisted will be called to appear for the Situation Test, which will be followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final result of NIFT 2018 will be declared on May/ June 2018. Candidates scoring higher marks will make it to the final merit list and will eventually get admission in NIFT courses of their likings at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Once NIFT 2018 Exam is completed on January 21, 2017, candidates will be able to check result for the NIFT 2018 Written Entrance Examination in Feb/March 2018 by following the easy steps mentioned hereunder.

NIFT 2018 Result and Reservation Rule
Seats reserved under each programme for SC/ ST/ PwD (Persons with Disability)/ Foreign Nationals/ SAARC/ NR/ State Domicile are as given below:

NIFT 2018 Result and Selection Procedure
NIFT 2018 Result will determine the further processing of the candidates who have qualified for the next rounds. NIFT 2018 selection procedure will start in the month of April/ May 2018 with the announcement of NIFT Result 2018. Candidates who have cleared NIFT 2018 entrance exam will be eligible to appear for the ‘Situation Test ‘, followed by GD/PI rounds. NIFT 2018 Result Card Contents
NIFT 2018 result card will be available to candidates through online mode only and is one of the most important documents required during the entire admission procedure. Candidates will be required to produce NIFT 2018 result card at the time of the GD/ PI to follow the Written Entrance Exam and counselling. NIFT 2018 Result Score Card will contain the following information:
- Name of the Candidate
- Roll Number
- Application Number
- Date of Birth (DOB)
- Photograph of the Candidate
- Subject-wise Scores obtained by the Candidate in GAT, CAT and Situation Test

What after NIFT Result 2018?
After NIFT Result 2018 for CAT and GAT is out, candidates will be required to go through a Situation Test and GD/ PI as per the selection process of the course they opt for. Situation Test is conducted to check the creative and innovative skills of the candidate with the given material and in the given situation. Candidates willing to pursue Masters degree from NIFT are required to undergo a case study based GD/ PI. The final result combined for all these tests will be declared in the month of May/ June 2018 through online mode.
Furthermore, after the declaration of the NIFT Final Result 2018, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will hold NIFT 2018 Counselling Sessions for the selected candidates at various NIFT Campuses.
