In order to enhance the education standards, Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has released a list of affiliated colleges that are rated on the basis of 18 parameters. This process will also help the aspirants to select the best college for their further education. The parameters which are taken into consideration for evaluating the rating are total number of courses, student-teacher ratio, total enrolment of students and teachers, number of smart classes, hostel and mess, insurance, playground, number of students scoring first division marks, number of seminars, conferences, and journals published by the university in an academic session.

RTU has precisely evaluated every parameter of a college before rewarding grades to them. Colleges received Grade A will get affiliation for five years whereas colleges attaining Grade B will get an affiliation for three years. The temporary affiliation will be provided to the colleges with Grade C.
Recently, approximately 116 engineering institutes are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. Candidates can get admission to undergraduate engineering courses in these institutes through JEE Main & Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) performed by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan.
