UCEED 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who are seeking admission to design colleges/universities under UCEED 2018 should fulfil certain criteria for eligibility. The eligibility criteria for UCEED 2018 is nothing but a set of requirements the authorities want candidates to meet. The eligibility criteria for UCEED 2018 are as follows:
UCEED 2018 Age Limit
The OPEN/ OBC-NCL candidate should have born on or after October 1, 1997, and SC/ST/ PwD candidates should have born on or after October 1, 1992.
UCEED 2018 Number of Attempts:
The candidate can attempt UCEED 2018 maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years.
UCEED 2018 Qualifying Examination
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) in 2017 or appearing in 2018. Candidates from all the streams are eligible to apply for UCEED 2018.
UCEED 2018 Citizenship Requisite
Candidates throughout the world can apply for UCEED 2018.
Note: Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2016 are not eligible for UCEED 2018.
UCEED 2018 Exam Pattern:
UCEED exam pattern 2018 consists of the structure of the paper including subjects, exam duration, marks allotted, negative marking and type of questions. Exam pattern of UCEED 2018 will help the students make an effective study plan while paying attention to all the subjects and topics.
Mode of Examination: Online mode
Number of Questions: The test will have total 80 questions of maximum 300 marks.
Type of Questions: Type of questions in each section will vary from each other.
- Section A will have 20 questions of Numerical Answer Type (NAT).
- Section B contains total 20 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ).
- Section C contains 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Number of Sections: 3 sections (A, B and C.)
Exam Duration: 3 hours
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer in Section A will carry 4 marks, Section B carries 4 marks for each right answer and for Section C, 3 marks will be given for each correct response.
Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 1 mark in section C only.
