The Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay released UCEED 2018 Important Dates for admission to the undergraduate programs in designing field. UCEED 2018 application process has been started from October 9, 2017, at 5 PM and will remain open until November 10, 2017, and November 17, 2017, with a late fee. Candidates can apply for UCEED 2018 at online mode only.

About UCEED 2018
UCEED 2018 or Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is an all India level entrance examination conducted by the IDC – IIT Bombay for admission to the Bachelor of Design Programme offered at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur. Aspirants who want to make the career in the designing industry by learning the skills from a reputed college can apply for UCEED exam 2018.

UCEED 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
The candidate needs to complete 10+2 in any disciplines from a recognized board in order to be eligible for UCEED 2018. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply for the exam.
Age Limit:
The applicant who belongs to the OPEN/ OBC-NCL must have born on or after October 1, 1997, while there is a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limitation for candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PwD category. Hence, such candidates must have born on or after October 1, 1992.
Number of Attempts:
The applicant can attempt UCEED examination two times at maximum. Also, remember these attempts must be in consecutive years.
Citizenship: The applicant must have an Indian citizenship to apply for UCEED 2018 exam.
(Note: Candidates who appeared for UCEED exam in 2016 for the first time cannot apply for UCEED exam in 2018.)
UCEED 2018 Application Process
Since the sale of UCEED 2018 application forms has been started from October 9, 2017, candidates can apply for UCEED 2018 now. Notably, the application forms will be available online until November 10, 2017.
After successfully filling up the application form, the candidate is required to make the payment of the prescribed UCEED 2018 application fee, depending on the category the applicant belongs to.
The last date to apply for UCEED 2018 is November 17, 2017. Candidates are advised to fill the application form of UCEED 2018 before the deadline to avoid any complications or difficulties during the registration or the time of admission.
Remember, the candidate must verify the information s/he has mentioned in the application form before the final submission of the application form. Once all the information is verified, the applicant is required to pay the fee via online mode. The candidate can make the payment via using the credit card/ debit card or various other payment gateways mentioned on the website.
