ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), also called otolaryngology is the field of medicine that deals with diagnosing and treating diseases concerned with ear, nose, throat, head and neck. Otorhinolaryngology is a surgical subspecialty within medicine that deals with conditions of the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) and related structures of the head and neck. Doctors who specialize in this area are called otorhinolaryngologists, otolaryngologists, ENT doctors, ENT surgeons, or head and neck surgeons. Patients seek treatment from an otorhinolaryngologist for diseases of the ear, nose, throat, base of the skull, and for the surgical management of cancers and benign tumors of the head and neck.Career Path

Pay Package
- Like in any other field the remuneration in this field depends on qualification, experience and area in which one works. One could get an initial pay of ₹20,000 to ₹40,000 per month.

Dr Meenesh Juvekar
Dr. Meenesh Juvekar- He has completed his MS (Master of Surgery) in ENT from the renowned LMT Medical College, Mumbai in January 1999. He has to his credit, numerous academic achievements some of which include the first place in DNB Examinations of National Board, New Delhi held in May 1999 – he was awarded a gold medal for standing first in India. Dr Juvekar became the President – Association of Otolaryngologists – Mumbai at a very young age. Dr Meenesh has even authored a book titled ‘Short Notes In ENT’ which was released by Padma Bhushan Dr. L. H. Hiranandani in 2006. The book is useful for both undergraduate and postgraduates.

Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva- He is a renowned ENT surgeon in Delhi. He joined Max Healthcare as Director of the ENT department in 2010. He has gained wide experience in ENT – Head & Neck Surgery and brings with him 26 years of noteworthy experience. He is a regular Operative Faculty at various State Association of Otolaryngologists of India on varied subjects like Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus and Ear Surgery, Laser Surgery etc. He has developed special proficiency in Endoscopic Minimally Invasive approach to Skull Base Surgery & conducted Live Surgery Workshop on Tracheal Stents jointly with the university Hospital, Ohio, United States of America. He has been awarded certificate of service, Lions Club: for Services Rendered in Rural Health Scheme and also honored by association of Otolaryngology of India
