Dubai shines with the 11th World Education Summit 2017

Dubai, Nov 27, 2017: A two-day annual Summit at Dubai brought together pre-eminent global leaders across higher education, research, industry, and government to share best practices and innovation in the development of education.

As the former banker turned educationist Rohit Manglik, CEO, EduGorilla, delivered a powerful speech to mark his invitation, he had a much bigger theme than just education on his mind. Watch the video here.

He dedicated his speech to developing techniques of job creation and on the overall mental development of students.

‘’Education should be more future-oriented than market-oriented,’’ he said. ‘’How can we be so sure that the jobs we are aiming at for our students will be there in the future? What if more improved technology like artificial intelligence reduces the future openings? To assure jobs in the future we need to focus on leadership skills and creativity for students and adopt future-oriented learning and teaching by developing a more flexible curriculum. According to a recent jobs report, the world’s economic center of gravity is shifting towards the emerging world. By 2030, Asia is projected to account for 66 % of the global middle-class and for 59% of middle-class consumption.’’

He discussed with other participants the usage of Human Resources with Technology to enhance educational standards in the world. He shed some light on finding ways to explore groundbreaking innovations to bring about significant improvements to worldwide education.
