GRE is nothing but an exam that validates the under-graduation education qualification of a student. This exam helps to set a common standard in admission process in universities in USA as well as across the globe so that the quality of candidates is similar throughout.
Most of the top notch institutes in USA require GRE scores of a student, if he/she is aspiring to continue a Masters or PhD program there. These universities help groom a student completely and makes them capable. They also provide the students with a variety of courses they can choose from. And even if they don’t ask for GRE it’s mandatory to write either IELTS or TOEFL.
Universities that don’t require GRE can also take in a student on the basis of the high GPA in their qualification, good and solid experience in his/her field of interest and an advanced degree in any field.
