  • The question paper will be of objective type and is bilingual (Hindi and English).
  • The question paper will be of 10+2 standard.
  • The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.

The time duration of Exam: Indian Navy SSR Exam duration is one hour. Time management is most crucial while opting for any competitive exam. Most students know all answer but could not answer all of them due to improper time management. You will need to divide your total time to each question to finish the exam in one hour.

Making a Study Schedule

A study schedule will help you to complete syllabus in due time of preparation.

Start with the easiest subject

Start with the subject you are very familiar with. It will help you to complete that section in due time. Prepare the difficult subject afterward, or at the end. Do this while preparing and study while attempting the exam.

Make notes of whatever you study

It will help you to revise everything you studied during the preparation. Prepare Outlines so that you can elaborate a topic well. Cramming should be avoided. Keep in mind the key points.

Solve previous years’ question papers

Previous years’ exam papers are available online. You can also get them in libraries or from senior students. Solving these papers will help a lot to know structure and format of the exam. This will help you in checking your speed of attempting the questions.

To get good marks in the Maths section, it is very important to have command over the syllabus of 11th and 12th CBSE Standard. You should know ell the basic concepts of Mathematics.

2.      Science

  • Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body/Gravitation.
  • Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity.
  • Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves.
  • Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiations, Atomic Nucleus / Solid and Semi-Conductor Devices, Principles of Communication.
  • Metals and Non- Metals, Organic Chemistry, Food, Nutrition and Health, Physiology and Human Diseases, Computer Science.

Remember

You need to have a good understanding the 10+2 science and should be quick to solve the questions. It is a portion that can get you good marks.

3.      English

  • Passage, Preposition, Correction of sentences, Change active to passive/passive to active voice.
  • Verbs/Tense/Non- Finites, Punctuation.
  • Substituting phrasal verbs for expression, Synonyms, and Antonyms, Meanings of difficult words.
  • Use of adjective, Compound preposition, Determiners (use of a, the, any, etc), Use of pronouns.

Good knowledge of basic grammar is very important

4.      General Awareness

  • Culture and Religion, Geography: Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement.
  • Sports: championships/Winners/Terms/No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs.
  • Important National Facts about India, Heritage, and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals, and Currencies.
  • National: Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities.
  • Common Names, Full forms, and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

You should keep yourself updated about the current affairs. For instance, about the recent issues, appointments, defense, agreements, visit, awards and honours, and other important things.
