WBJEE Counselling 2017:
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has started WBJEE 2017 counselling from June 12. The qualifying candidates should register online, pay registration fee and do the process of choice filling and choice locking. Seats will be allotted to the aspirants according to their eligibility and preference of a course/subject. The candidates with high marks will be preferred during the initial phases of counselling.
Choice filling of WBJEE 2017 can be done from 12 June to 20 June 2017. The document verification process will be done after the candidates were allotted temporary seats through seat allotment process. Seat allotment will be held on three levels on 23 June, 4 July and 12 July respectively. According to officials, qualifying candidates will be offered admissions to 36,288 undergraduate engineering seats. Seats will be allotted as per the rank and preferences of the candidates and they should report at the respective Institute for the document verification and pay the fee.

Registration and Fee Payment of WBJEE Counselling 2017:
The candidates can only register before the counselling of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2017 starts. Once the first round of counselling is done, no applications will be accepted. As a registration fee, the candidate should pay INR 500. The candidates will be allowed to fill up their choice only after the payment of registration fee. The candidates can pay the fee through Debit Card/Credit Card or E-Challan of Allahabad Bank. The aspirant can’t change his or her category after submitting the application. No change or modification will be allowed. Those who registered and paid the fee for counselling will be eligible for choice filling of WBJEE 2017.
WBJEE Counselling 2017 Online Choice Filling:
The candidates should select their choices and preferences of course and college in the order of institute and branch online within a particular time allotted. Choices will be displayed as per the eligibility of the candidate. Whether the candidate is eligible for GMR/PMR or both, needs to fill only a set of choices. Candidates can change the preferences of the college or the subject if they want to and there is no restriction for the number of choices that a candidate can make.
WBJEE Counselling 2017 Choice Locking and Printing of Locked choices:
The candidates should be very careful while making the choices and before locking their preferences. It is advisable that the candidates should finalize the choice before locking. Once the choices are locked, the applicants can’t change it. If the candidates fail to explicitly lock their choices before the submission date, their last saved choices will be considered. After locking the choices successfully, the candidates will get to see their preferences and choice in a print form. Take a print out of the copy for future references.
WBJEE Counselling 2017 Seat Allotment:
The seats will be allotted in the order of merit as per the GMR or PMR or on the basis of the locked choices. The allotment results will be published on the official website. Candidates won’t get any seat allotment letters individually. The applicants should get a printout of the seat allotment letter from the site. The aspirants should report at the reporting centres to complete the admission procedures. The application will reject if an applicant fails to report on time. As there are three phases of the process of seat allotment, during the first phase, seats will be offered to the candidates as per the choices of preference and their rank. During the second and third phase, the available vacant seats will be filled with the remaining candidates. If a candidate withdraws provisional admission at any point of time will not be considered for any sort of admission.
