Their responsibility is to enter the data, maintain and update it on a routine basis.

Furthermore, DEO is also responsible for the data of the clients of the Government organization(s). He/she needs to maintain and be responsible to safeguard those data. For this, he/she should have direct interaction with the clients and senior officials.

Typing is very essential in this profile. Hence, the operator should be proficient in either of languages like Hindi or English with basic computer knowledge. Should have a typing speed and accuracy.

Moreover, the operator is also dutiful for inserting customer data and account data through text based and numerical information. This, he/she must perform from some source documents within the time limits.

These posts are offered by the Postal Department of the Indian Government. Language is the main criteria for the Postal/Sorting Assistant post in Government. It is a type of Clerical job wherein Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant ranks in the same place. Postal Assistants have the advantage of having the job in/around their hometowns since language proficiency is the main criteria for this post. The SSC CHSL court clerks perform admin duties in criminal and civil justice systems. They need to assist higher officers like judges, lawyers etc. They will be appointed for each court by that court judge or through the state or country level exams. The clerks basically perform tasks as Administrative Assistants do.

  • Maintaining records so that those are easily accessible whenever required

Some Key Points to Know About SSC CHSL Cut Off

Cut Off for each level will be released separately, after the declaration of the result. It may be checked in the Official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in at the SSC CHSL Result page. Candidates who have cleared level-1 and secured marks above the cut off will only be allowed and shortlisted for level 2 Exam. This has been explained in detail in the Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL Exam. The qualifying marks for the level 2 Exam are 33%. The level 3 Exam comprises of Skill Test/Typing Test.
